4 Years

:: Sniffle:: Sniffle:: My baby is 4 today! It can't be so!! This boy is truly one of a kind! He makes us laugh daily, smiles constantly and has a heart of gold! I just cannot fathom him being so big. He is just an all around wonderful boy who loves his family and makes friends where ever he goes. Ask him his name, and he will always tell you, " I am Benji Jeff Bateman!" He is definitely one of  my three cutest kids!  I will post later tonight pictures from his birthday party last night. The kid had a blast!

This is one happy 3 year old! Sadly right before we left the park, Ben fell off a toy and has a big fat lip today. Other than that it was a great birthday party!

Week in Pictures! and Benji Turns 1!!

What a week we have had!! Trenton had his first soccer game. he did very well. They lost their game, but they played hard. I think if the coach does some strategy this week, they will have a good chance of winning the next game. I am trying not to be upset that the coach is clueless, and knows nothing of soccer, but she is learning too and maybe it will be good for every one
Trenton ROCKED IT as a goalie! He blocked three goals!


This is my week of canning. Pickles, zucchini relish, peaches in light syrup (quarts) and peaches in medium syrup and spiced (pints) It was so so fun! Next week I make apple butter!

Miss Ashlynn at Ben's party



Lots of sippy cups. We have always let the boys keep their bottles until one year old, (especially since they don't take binkies) then transition to sippy cups. Ben has used his cups a lot before getting these, but now the bottle goes away and now we have many cups to choose from!
