Girls Camp and July 4th

What an awesome experience it was to go to girls camp!!! TOTALLY AWESOME! We had so much fun, and the testimony meeting we had our last night there was amazing!! I love those girls! Here is all the leaders on the first day for our leader skit. We thought we were pretty funny!

It was a very big week for our family too. After I returned from camp, Sunday marked 2 years since our baptism into the Church of Jesus Christ of latter Day Saints. I can't believe it has been 2 years!! Holy smokes!

Monday was a fun day to celebrate our Nations Freedom! We kicked it off with a breakfast at the church then came home and took a small snooze. Jerome did not have fireworks with year (dummy heads) so after we barbequed, we headed to Twin to camp out at CSI for 3 hours. It was actually pretty fun!

Shoshone, Sun Valley, and Shoshone Falls

  Our wonderful three munchkins!
 Shoshone 2011

 Sun Valley 2011

Really cool twig house in Sun Valley. The boys LOVED it.

Took a walk on a hiking trail. Joe and Benji thought it was pretty cool and kept asking if it was a train bridge

 My FAVORITE picture!

Yesterday was our trip to Shoshone Falls. I have not seen the falls this full since I was a tiny little girl.

We had a nice couple of days while Rex was off work. It is so wonderful to explore the area around you and remember to be a tourist in your own town. Sun Valley was just beautiful. We walked and explored and took in all the wonderful scenery.

Shoshone Falls was a great outing with the family, and Rex's parents. We took a picnic lunch and played at Dierkes Lake Park too.
We got to meet up with a cute little goose family while we were there.
The boys enjoyed feeding them bread and crackers too.

cute little buggers!

Easter 2011

Hunting eggs in the side yard....... in our PJ's!

 Tons of smiles today!

 Goofiness runs deep!

 Trenton ... smiling? :)

Tman coloring eggs. It was so fun! We listened to past General conferences while we colored.

 Easter buckets.

 My boys.

 What cuties!

 Easter Lilly.

Tasty Easter dinner. Ham, scalloped potatoes, mashed potatoes, peas, salad, baked beans, and the new Bateman favorite.... Garlic Cheese rolls (that take 3 hours to make!)

After our early dinner... we went here. and it was nice to walk the area. We weren't able to walk the grounds because it was Sunday and everything was closed up, but we walked perimeter.

Ahhh.. they DO love each other!

They love going to the Temple.
Happy Easter all. I hope the TRUE meaning of the day was not forgotten. While we colored eggs.. and ate jellybeans, we took the majority of the day to reflect on the great blessings that Christ has brought to this world.
