September 17th, 2013

This past week has made me realize that I can do a heck of a lot! It has been a hard week, and this week is not much easier, but my mind set is a lot different. I just keep on chuggin' along and do the best I can. I have learned to let certain things go and accept that not everything can or will be perfect all the time.

In other news, my wonderful husband celebrated 1 year at Fisher's Documents, and on said anniversary, he was named Team Member of the Month as well. His boss said a lot of uplifting, and great things about him. It was announced at a special meeting this morning, and included every member of the Fisher's Team. I have to say, I am a lucky lady to have such a hard working, smart, and fast learning husband. He came into this job with no prior experience, and has skyrocketed in this position. His boss mentioned that while setting up copiers for CSI, Rex was working like he had 40+ years experience. The whole company is impressed with his skill, and so am I.

The week continues with canning apple pie filling, apple juice, pears, pear pie filling, applesauce, apple butter, school work, scripture mastery, reading, housework, and so on. While I am learning a lot form this time, I am keeping in mind of a quote I like. Stop the Glorification of Busy. I am looking forward to the time of not busy!

Within An Inch of Freedom!

One more final to take on Thursday, then I am on a nice break until June 6th. I am so stinkin excited. This semester has been so incredibly difficult to manage with everyday life for some reason. I am glad to be rid of it and have it behind me. My goal was to make the Presidents List ( all A's) but sadly I will have to settle for the Dean's list, which I am okay with. I just did not have the uummph the last 2 weeks and did not test as well as I usually do on my last couple tests, but I finished them and I got grades that I am not heartbroken over.

I have lots of pictures to post when I get around to it. School is winding up for Trenton, the garden is getting ready to be planted, the summer reading program is starting, landscaping and decorating is about to commence and life is showing no signs of slowing down.

A Full Plate

Last week, I started to feel the pressure, this week, I feel like the picture above. I have so much going on right now, I feel a little overwhelmed.
I have a HUGE history paper due by Friday, and to be honest, I fall asleep every time I read the book. It is not one of the most riveting times in history, and the writing is a bit dry.
I have to get everything ready for San Fran.
I have a TON of reviews to write still.
Thankfully it is Stake Conference next Sunday, so I don't have to worry about the bulletin this week, but I do have to give the opening prayer for the Saturday Session.
Relief Society meeting to organize (help organize and run)
I have a health test next week, smack in the middle of us being in California.

And then there is the other stuff: laundry, dishes, dusting, sweeping, mopping, ironing, cooking, doing pre school work with Joe, doing pre school work with Ben, gardening, preparing to can the food from my garden, lawn work, and putting up a new fence. ( I LOVE all of these things) but it is seeming harder to get everything done.
It will all be worth it in the end, and I will get some balance down soon, I hope!
