Picture Update!

Our garden spot is ready to plant! And the boys have our seedlings started in our side yard.

I am a lucky mama to have this little lady to stare out while taking my finals!

Benji is head over heels for this girl!
I love his eye lashes.

This is my fun and tasty card that Andrea made me for Mother's Day. It was too cute.

 Benji and Evelyn holding hands.

This is what I came home to after church. Decorations and a wonderful sign. " Happy Mothers Day To An Epic Mom" I laughed so hard!

Pictures! And Updates

So, it's been a while since we have added some actual pictures! Here is Mr. Benji!

Trenton FINALLY learned how to ride a bike!

Two days later, so did Joe!

We have been seeing Nana lots. We sure love her!

We went to Centennial Park once evening for Mutual and it was just amazing. I love having a wonderful canyon in our area.

For mothers day we built birdhouses and squirrel feeders. Here is Rex and Andrea (one of the Yong Women from church---who stays with us on the weekends) building a house for her mom.

A bit cadywompous but that is what we were going for.

This is the squirrel feeder we made for Nana. It took a lot of time, but it was great fun!

The roof lifts up on the side to put the peanuts in. I have to say, my hubby sure is creative! He thought of this idea Friday and we had it finished by Sunday.

So, pictures aside, things have been well here. Rex is up for a new job this coming week. We are pretty sure he has it, but I wont go into detail until he does.

I am done with school for the semester. That being said, we have had a lot of changes happen since school ended.

#1- I am changing my major. I really, truly, honestly do not want to teach and feel as if I went into the major for the sake of other people. I was only fooling myself.  I want to be home with my kidos, and I want to be a mom. I am changing my major to English, which I can have done by next spring.

#2- After this school year, the boys will be home schooled. This is something I have always toiled with and contemplated, and the time has come. It is scary, but very exciting.

I love when life turns upside down and everything feels new! It is scary, but exciting!

Sunshine at the End of a Crummy Day!

After a day full of trials and controlling my temper, I came home to a house full of kidos (Trenton's friend came to visit, along with the neighbor kids). I was not too thrilled about the arrangements, but after my shower and snack, Trenton gave me a present for mothers day.
A pretty petunia in a red plastic Dixie cup, and a card. The sweetest most heart felt card a mom could get.

" I love you mom because you take care of me and you read to me books at bedtime. You remind me to do my homework, and you come to all my concerts. You cuddle with me and you work so we can buy food and a house and electricity, and buying us books so we can read. You pay for gas so I can go to school and thank you for buying us pets and pet food and buying us shows to watch . Thank you for letting us sleep upstairs in Fridays, and buying a new couch. You help me put on my eye patch ( he has a lazy eye we are trying to correct) and thank you for buying school supplies so I can use them at school"

I melted about 20 times while reading his card, and still cry each time I read it. He really made my whole day and gave me a reason to turn a bad day into a wonderful one!
