Betty

We are now proud owners of a van. It is nothing to fancy, but it is a great car that we got for a great price! SOOOOO HAPPY!

PS- Her name is Betty.

Hmmm

I never thought I would be SO excited to be getting a van. TODAY, we should be getting a 2000 Chrysler Town and Country van. It's nothing special, nothing fancy, but we are getting a heck of a deal on it, and the biggest PLUS...NO CAR PAYMENTS. In the 11 years Rex and i have been together, we have never had car payments. This car hunting business has been a doozy. Not to be rude, but some of the crap people try to sell!! GEESH! We almost had a Mercury van yesterday and the dealership sold it out from under us for an extra $200.00.
Last Sunday our Bravada would not start, and after much work, we found out it was the fuel pump. to fix it, it will either consist of; A- $700.00 for a mechanic to fix it. Or B- Rex to spend $200.00 and about 8 hours under the car fixing it himself. Grrr. we just want to sell it and no one wants to buy a car that they have to fix.
Any way, we are crossing our fingers, toes, noses, arms, hairs and anything else you can cross that we can get this van today. HOORAY! I will be a van mom!

The Day Has Come...

We are looking into buying a van ::shudder:: I swore I would never be a "van" mom. The boys are getting too big to have squished into a 5 passenger car however. So, looks like we will be trying to sell my Bravada and buy a 7 passenger van, or as my Grandma lovingly calls, a Mormon Mobile.
I am sure it will be great and everyone will enjoy the extra room.

Updates will be provided upon progression of purchasing status.

25 and 26

Artwork-
This is something I painted a few years back. I have always liked it.

And Transportation- This is my transportation.... soon to be replaced.....maybe. We might breakdown and sell this to buy a van. But for now, here she sits.
