My Inlaws are Awesome

I got em' hooked! Every night I fix dinner for all of us and we hunker down and watch an episode ...or 4 of Gilmore Girls. Happy happy girl right here! My father in law loves it the most.. it is great! I tell ya, Gilmore Girls is unwavering in its ability to bring loved ones together. I tell ya, I never grow tired of this amazing series. It is like a big fat baby blanket that is always there to comfort me. Now... I have family to enjoy it with me (besides Rex)

Swoon

How amazing is my hubby ??? He was trying to birthday shop for me, and knows my love of purses....
So, he actually remembered from my million times of watching Gilmore Girls, when Logan gave Rori a Birkin Bag. He thought it would be funny if he could get me one for my birthday just like the one from the show, but soon discovered that the starting price for this beauty is $2500, so the Birkin Bag for Sara is a no go, but just him thinking of it, and remembering made me all mushy gushy. What a guy!

I Love My Husband

How great is it that a simple message relayed from Trenton could make my day so bright? While transferring laundry, changing Ben into PJ's , after just getting home from an auxiliary meeting I get the wonderful message of,
" Oy! With the Poodles Already!"  I LOVE IT! It made my whole day better. I properly replied to him with,
" Copper Boom!"  It is the little things in a marriage that really make it special. I am sorry if you do not understand this post..... I have watched and made my husband watch Gilmore Girls too many times.

The Influence I Have Been On My Children

Pictured above, is a Webikinz that Trenton got for his birthday. He was thrilled because his Grammie has one too, and now they both have lions.
I asked what he was going to name his lion, which left him pondering for a while. " Well mommy, Grammie named hers Roary so I think I should name mine Lorelei like on Gilmore Girls. " I about died from laughter. My poor kid has watched Gilmore Girls with me so much it is becoming a normal thing for him to talk about. Geesh what have I done!
