Pouting, stomping, and sticking my lip out as far as it will go. I planted my garden ( too early I am sure and it is all my fault) and now.. it is a sad little garden. My cucumbers died, my watermelon died, my onions are doing okay.. and then to top it off one of the dogs got to the side yard and dug up my strawberries, jalapenos and peppers. So, basically, I have cilantro, dill, tomatoes and maybe some carrots and onions. I am making my trip back to Moss Greenhouse tomorrow and wait to plant until next week. Darn my impatience. Try try again I suppose.
I am in a cantankerous mood today. I don't want to do anything, I am mad about having o do laundry and so many other things that I HAVE to do, and I really don't want summer school to be starting so soon. The coupon craze has hit so hard in Jerome that you have to fight to get any extra Sunday papers, wither that or get up at 3am to get them first. The shelves are all cleaned out all the time, and the stores are getting cranky about everything. I have been keeping my shopping down to a minimum lately and just getting a few deals here and there until all these crazy people get tired of chasing every deal they see. I am glad people are finding smart ways to save money, but they need to realize that there are others of us who have been doing this for a while longer and that there are coupon rules we try to follow. 1. Don't clear shelves 2. treat your cashiers with respect 3. Stealing newspapers is wrong 4. YOU DON'T NEED EVERY SINGLE SALE THAT COMES OUT .
Thankfully I have a pretty good stock of things and I can afford to sit out a bit until the hysteria calms down.
Off to spread my abundance of sunshine with the world
5 grateful things ( I need this today)
Busy work*re-do's* Good kids* last week of school* reading

Price Matching Is AWESOME and cleaning Up the Blog
I love stores that price match sale items!! They do not enjoy it, but I sure enjoy the MANDO discounts! I got a Shopko Ad in the mail last week, which had TONS of SUPER Sales in it! For one, I got 4 new NICE bath towels for $10 all together ,and a play pen for Benji for $40. I was going to get another sale item, but they were out. Advertised , were a few Wii games for $14!!!! They had Jenga, Wario Shake, and some other games (we were not that interested in) . Much to my dismay, the Wii games were one of the first things to go that Thursday morning. Luckily! I still had the advertisement, and my wonderful hubby took it down to WalMArt, where in there electronics department, they boldly display that they price match. the employee and electronics manager, were not that please to pull the $50 game from the shelf and sell it for $14. I love getting a good deal!

That aside, I will be cleaning up my blog, so if all of a sudden I am not following your blog for a while, or your blog is not listed under my "Blogs I Read " Tab, it's nothing personal, just tidying up and getting ready to re arrange things. Rex and I are getting ready to start a few new blogs as well and want to make it as easy as possible to manage them all.

It's The Little Things
I am easily pleased these days. It is too funny.
So this morning I tried to cook breakfast. No eggs, no yogurt, one pack of oatmeal, no milk.... we seriously needed to go grocery shopping. We also were in dire need of diapers, dishwasher detergent, band-aids, and Neosporine. I managed to throw some odds and ends together for breakfast, get Trenton to school and make my very detailed shopping list. When Trenton was out of school, I took a big deep breath and headed to WalMart with all three boys, all by myself. Oh yeah, the dog had to ride along. He likes taking car rides. I set myself up for the worst, and held my head high as we set foot into the store.
Long story short, I made it out alive, stayed under budge, no screaming kids, and not tantrums or melt downs while shopping. I am very excited that I made it through a grocery shopping trip with the boys all by my lonesome! I know it does not sound like much, but ever since Ben was born I have dreaded taking all 3 of them out by myself. I now feel like I can do anything!!!!

A Big Week
Boy oh boy do we have a big week ahead of us.
Our pretty, beautiful, big 65" TV was a champ through the big game last night, no problems at all. This morning at 5am, there was sound but no picture. Then a picture and sound, then it shut off with the accompaniment of a crashing whining sound, then as Rex and I call it, the red light of death. Our lamp is going out in it AGAIN. This happened about a year ago. Very frustrating. So we have decided to replace the lamp and sell it on craigslist.com and buy something else. Grrr. Oh well, at least we have a plan!
Past the TV trauma, we face the anxiety of waiting for taxes, healthy grocery shopping and the big kick off of the BIGGEST LOSER IDAHO STYLE!! I am so excited. I wish we had more people wanting to participate, but oh well. We still have a decent number, and it will be fun no mater what.
Then the fun of buying bunk beds and new mattresses and our couch. Lots of shopping !! WOO HOO! And in the end we will have some much needed new items, paid ahead 6 months on mortgage, and NO DEBT. I can't wait for the relief to kick in!
I will post pictures of my football cakes that I made yesterday. It was a fun evening.

Thanksgiving is BACK ON!
Due to some in law/ family issues, we were not really going to do a Thanksgiving dinner. We were planning a nice meal, but nothing fancy. My dad ended up having to work that day and Grandma and others are busy, so I did not see a point in cooking a turkey dinner with the trimmings for 2 adults, two kids and an infant!
well, last nights grocery trip proved us wrong. We went to our haven of low prices, Winco, to find BIG beautiful turkeys $0.37 a pound with a 50 dollar purchase.....so we filled our cart making sure we got our $50 (we went about $40 over) and make shifted our own turkey dinner! A bit of this and that and we are making our own pies and rolls, i am so excited now! I am so proud of my BIG HUGE 25 tukeyfor $9.25!!!! WOO HOO for Winco!
