Teeth and Rolling

Benji's 2nd tooth popped out today!! Poor little man is swelling and has a bit of a fever, but he is hanging in there. He finally started rolling over more this morning too! Little stubborn guy. He is loving sitting up now too. Its almost as if he is skipping things! I can sit him up on his bottom and he will stay there and balance for a good long while. Silly boy!!

Yes, another big headed baby boy! Thankfully they grow into them !!! He is a cutie though!! Stats to come on Thursday!! I wonder how big he is now?!?



I got a nice surprise this afternoon when I picked up Trenton from school. Jefferson Elementary does a test called an IRI, to see where all the students are with reading skills. For Kindergarten, they test on 3 things, letter recognition, letter sounds, and Phonemes (hard to explain but kinda like syllables) . They see how many they can do in 1 minute. I cried when Trenton brought home his results.
Letter Recognition goal of 33---Trenton 69
Letter Sound goal 20------ Trenton 44
Phonemes goal 20----------Trenton 39

Yes I am bragging and I probably should not be, but Trenton and I have been working so hard and practicing nightly. His hard work has really payed off.
