After A Summer of Waiting!

Rex starts his new job September 17th! He will be working on printers, copiers and fax machines all around the southern Idaho area. It will be a good amount more in pay, better benefits, a company car, company cell phone and much much more. We are so excited for this adventure!!

Ok, Might Be Starting Over Already

so, I think I might wait out my fresh start until the first week of February. Use up the rest of our "bad" food and really get planning for this.
Hopefully Mrs. Marshall and I will be getting a biggest loser contest started by then too! It is so much easier to get into shape when you are doing it with friends and competing!

Other than that, Rex is in for a short but hard week at work. He works a regular shift today, regular shift Monday .. kind of . He will work 7-3pm Monday, come home (he gets here about 5pm) and then has to turn around and be back at work at 2am, meaning he will have to go to bed at 6 or 7 and be up at 11pm, catch the bus at 12:30 am. He will then get to work at 2am, work from then until 3pm, and then work Wednesday until 10am. Ughhh icky icky schedule!! But I will have him home most of Wednesday until Saturday! Woo Hoo!

Ben is still not sleeping through the night, which is killing me! He just gets up to eat, but man oh man, I would LOVE a full nights sleep!! I am running on fumes!

More Work!

We went to take another step into our house remodel adventure..........and as Rex keeps putting it, we opened a can of worms! The floors are not level AT ALL and some of the joists under the floor are giving and need replaced BIG TIME. So my dear hubby who hates creep crawly bugs, gets to climb under our crawl space (all dirt and wood) and put in 2-3 new joists under the floor! We also get to put in filler on the spots we cannot get level by screwing down the boards, with this funky putty stuff, that takes 24 hours to dry. "Don't walk on the floor kids, we need the putty to dry!" Yeah right! I so not know if Rex is going to make his Christmas day deadline!

Worked My Fingers To The Bone!

As most of my friends know, I work online as a transcriber and now as and expediter as well for the Search Engine ChaCha.com. Today they were having a contest to win some extra cash, so I thought, hey why not. A cash prize for a few lucky workers who completed 300 queires in a 9 hour period. 352 total queries transcribed/ expedited in under three hours. I better win something! It was actually really easy,and fast as each transaction takes at the most 20 seconds for me anymore. The three hours includes breaks off and on the fix dinner, eat, play with the boys and so on.
But as I type this, my hand are achy and my shoulders are ready for a nice rub down from the hubby. I was glad I committed and accomplished my goal! Results come in tomorrow! Here's hoping my hard work paid off!
