Let the Games Begin!

I do not know why I picked today of all days to start potty training Ben.. but here goes nothing. He is doing as well as expected. Lots of accidents, and a few victories! The only part I am scared of is Sunday.... Rex has to work and I will be solo at church, so I might diaper him for those 3 hours and go from there. I HOPE HOPE HOPE he gets the jist within the next few weeks. We are setting the timer for every 15 minutes so far. I think we might change to 20 minutes tomorrow. Great thing to do in the middle of mid terms by the way... I am nuts.

Forced into Non Cheapskate Mode

After having Trenton and Joe, we never had to deal with diaper rashes and such. I have always bought Target Brand, Walmart Brand or Costco Brand diapers. They boys never had a problem with them and we saved TONS of money. I mean come on 5.95 versus 10.99 or 13.99 for less diapers!! Well in true kid fashion, Benajmin has to prove us wrong. We have been dealing with the first diaper rash ever, and it is a doozy. We tried all the creams and pastes, switched soap, washed more, washed less. We bought : Luv, Papmers, White Cloud, All Natural, and even organic diapers. They did not help either. Finally we broke down and bought Huggies. They seem to be working so far, but its still hurts a little each time I pay $10 for 27 diapers, when I could be paying $6 for 48. as long as my little man is happy and healthy, that is all that matters though. Only another year before we start potty training anyways. I can handle that!
