60 years

So, yesterday, I thought i was going to a 50th anniversary party, which is a huge accomplishment especially in the world we live in today, but come to find out it was their 60th anniversary party! It was amazing. The whole day was great, as I got to see my daddy, and I got to meet members of my dad's dad's side of the family that I had never met before. My dad's father (my grandpa) died when I was pretty young and there were some issues with that side of the family for years due to some disagreements and changes in family dynamics. Anywho! I got to meet my great great uncle and aunt (those with the anniversary) 2nd cousins, my dad's half sister, and a ton of other people who I am still figuring out the placement of and how they are related to me. I have to say I was not looking forward to the event through out the week, but am now very glad we went.
