A Day Of Presents!

Boy I feel spoiled today! My Grandma came over this afternoon to say hi and see Ben. She also brought me some fresh garden tomatoes and fresh picked, dirt still on them red potatoes. She left, on her way to Wal Mart, then soon returned to my surprise with bags full of goodies! She got me a new kitchen rug (very cute by the way, it has a rooster and apples on it) peppermints, kid Cuisines for the kids so I did not have to cook lunch. 2 packs of bacon (I have been craving BLT's but have been too cheap to buy any bacon myself), cat food for my kittens, donut sticks for my tea or coffee in the morning, and BON BON's! Actual BON BON's! I was over the moon about the grab bag of items. I know it does not sound like much, but it was nice to be babied a little bit, it's been a while. Then the mail came.......normally I grimace at it's site, but today a nice package came with it, a two pack of FREE formula from Enfamil. Now, Ben is getting breast milk mostly, but at night we supplement formula due to his fierce appetite. So the 2 cans that equal to about $30! A pretty good day for me, I was happy to report my day of gifts to Rex as well as the news that I had finished Twilight and that I was ready for the 2nd book. (which I had borrowed from my neighbor but she needed it back because it was her sisters) we talked about getting it this weekend or next week in our travels. Well, when he got home from work, there it was shiny, new, pretty and waiting for the pages to be turned ASAP! I felt like a princess!

Spoiled! lol Gotta love that free Enfamil, huh? Enjoy your Bon Bons. Personally, I've never had them. I'm not too cheap to buy bacon, but I am too cheap to buy Bon Bons. lol

It really is all about the small things, isn't it? Though things like that don't seem small to me, either! They seem pretty darn special, especially when you spend most of your life in the service of others.
