Sunday Sum Up

The past week, was ... odd. Rex had to work Graveyard Tuesday and Wednesday PLUS his whole shift, so 13 hour shift, plus to bus ride ( 16 hour day) two days in a row! It was miserable, on both of us!!
Benjamin slept for 8 hours and 10 hours ... two nights and that was it, but I will take any sleep I can get! He also started more solids and LOVES squash.
We got our couch on Thursday ( now that is my kind of mail Liz!!). It is SO comfy and fits perfectly!! Same day we finally got the boys their bunks beds. That was a task! But it got down and they have a nice new bed and new comfy mattresses.
Friday we were going to go out desk shopping as ours is falling to pieces. On our way out the door Rex checked craigslist.com and stumbled upon a beautiful desk that you could close up to look like a bureau or hutch. we got is for the same price we were planning on spending for a silly WalMart one! Yes it is used but it retails at $500, so I am not complaining!!! It is a bit big though and we are having a hard time finding a place for it.
So, our spending adventures end this week, ad though it was fun, I am glad we are done! We are paid up on everything, including mortgage, got all of our new necessities, and now are selling off the old ones. I am ready to settle into everyday life again!
OH and great news on the biggest loser front. I thought I had lost nothing and Rex gained two pounds, until Rex went out and got a new scale! I lost 2 he lost 1. We were pleased as the previous weigh in was disappointing. Rex broke the last scale by jumping on it.... silly boys.
So here is to a new week. Another week of graveyard shift, baby food, cleaning, and exercising.
