I have been baking our own bread for the past month or so. I found a great recipe and now the boys will not have any less! It is super easy too. Joe and I make our bread for the week every Monday. We are gearing up for all of our baking as well. Pumpkin bread, pumpkin cookies, apple pie... and more! I made apple butter a few weeks ago, and it turned out SO nummy! I thin another batch is in order soon!
Trenton's cheerleading lasted one day. Rex and I tried to tell him what it would all consist of, but he did not listen. So he went to practice, and hated it. I almsot made him follow through with it, but the poor guy was pretty upset after the practice and on top of it, he was the only boy in his group. so I told him from now on, that he really needed to listen to us when it came to things like this. He did still get his shirt and is proud to wear it! Joe is progressing well with is counting and alphabet. He does "homework" with Trenton every night. He loves numbers and writing. Ben is RUNNING full speed. we got him some sneakers and it seemed to only make him faster. He loves to dance, and talk. I think he is our biggest talker yet.. which means it wont be quiet for a very long time in the Bateman House. He can say, mama, dada, JoJo (pronounces go go though), HI! (his favorite that he says to everyone) num nums, no, dog, oh, papa. and cup. Oh course Rex and I can make out these words easily when he says these things, but they are not super clear.
On a sad note, our last missionary is leaving tomorrow. He is being transferred to Kuna. We will miss Elder Olivera oh so much. He has done more than he knows for us, and we will always remember him and care for him. He is a very special person.
Well, I think that is it. So as life slows down I will blog more. I PROMISE!
