"I've Got The Good Kid!" (Lorelei in episode before Rori graduates) Ok,ok, I know i have a Gilmore Girl addiction, especially when I start quoting the show in my blog, but what can I say! ?
Last night was parent teacher conferences at Jefferson Elementary. Trenton stayed home as he is still feeling icky icky. We came in Mrs. Hall just started GUSHING about Trenton. We were so pleased to hear her talk about how smart, kind, and responsible he is. He makes friends fast and is nice to all in his class, gets his work done fast and effectively, and is always willing to lend a helping hand to her and any other teacher that needs it. Then came the testing scores. I was a bit nervous but then pleasantly surprised. In the state reading test, the average score for a 5 year old kindergartener scores around a 500 or a little lower. Trenton scored at 630, the age of a 6 1/2 year old!!!!! WOO HOO! Mrs. Hall thinks by the end of the school year, he will be at a 700. We were about jumping out of our seats! Then she showed us another test on letter recognition and sound. At the beginning of the year they like the children to score at around a 10 or 15, our little man scored at a 30!!! I am just over the moon. His wonderful teacher is pulling out extra assignments and work for him so does not get bored either. I am so thankful for her. I also had my proud mama moment when she asked who his pre school teacher was and where he went to pre school. I proudly announced I was his teacher and we did pre school at home. She was very impressed!
Ok, I am done boasting.......... "I'VE GOT THE GOOD KID!!!" :-D Ok, seriously done now.

That's incredible! Can we come to your preschool? :-) Congratulations! You sure did get the good kid.
