Rex and I sat down last night and looked at our accomplishments, and future work that needs to be done, by Christmas mind you. We looked at each other, and at almost the same moment, said "What were we thinking?" Of all the times of the year to start major household renovations, why 2 weeks before Christmas? WHY? We came to the conclusion that even though we are parents and " grown ups" we still have our child like impulsive side. We found a good deal on flooring, brought it home and could not wait to get started......so we did, not thinking of Joe's birthday (the 13th) company coming from San Fransisco (the 15th), family coming to visit (the 23rd) Christmas , we are hosting Christmas dinner, and our anniversary (the 28th). Suuuurrreeee great time to tear out floors and walls, and build new ones, and lay floors down.
We will be more prepared next time!
