Eve Eve

It is Christmas Eve Eve! Boy, did we know how to celebrate. We made 3 batches of toffee, one batch of peppermint chocolate bark, and candy bar fudge ( Ah-mazing)

Candy Bar Fudge

1/2 Cup Butter
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup milk

Put these in a glass bowl and microwave and mix up as it melts, and cook until boiling

Once done, mix in 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla . Once combined, pour mixture into a greased 8x8 pan

30 unwrapped caramels
1 Tablespoon water

put these into a bowl and microwave until melted. Once melted mix in 1/3 cup roasted salted peanuts
Pour caramel mix on top of  fudge mix in pan

1 cup chocolate chips

Melt in glass bowl and pour on top of the caramel mixture

Chill for 2 hours.



Past our cooking, we finished up odds and ends shopping and enjoyed all the treats people dropped off tonight!!
